Lyfe Jennings- STATISTICS

Supposedly inspired by Steve Harvey's book, Act Like A Lady, Think Like A Man, Lyfe Jennings gives us ladies some advice in finding a good man. As simple as it is, he's pretty much giving advice that we tend to forget. I can't tell you how many of my girlfriend's sleep with a guy on the first date and wonder why all he wants is a booty call. Sure we all want greatness but as he says, sometimes we forget "to be the person that we want to find". As much as I want to be upset about another man thinking we need his advice... he's calling us ladies out and basically saying "Expect more, You'll Get More". We all get to choose who we want to be with, time for us to pretty much make better choices.

Your Thoughts?  Is Lyfe speaking the truth? Or just another man trying to give advice that really shouldn't be?

  1. Granted, I'm in a bad mood right now...That being said. You can do your best, pray, practice the 80-20 rule, take your time to get to know a guy, give a guy a chance even when you're not really interested, take time off to 'be alone' and get to know yourself, workout, go to school, keep good credit and the list goes on; and you can still find yourself single and lonely. There are no guarantees. And I know more than one woman in this predicament. The things Lyfe & Steve talk about definitel help, but they are by no means a guarantee.

  2. I definitly think Lyfe is speaking the truth...he's not bringing any new revelations, but he is reminding some of us of how we relax our standards, which in turn can be detrimental to our physical and emotional health. However, the owness does not rely soley on the woman. Men need to demonstrate a higher moral authority when relating to us. They can get some "act right" too!
